Jignesh M. Patel
Jignesh M. Patel is a Professor of Computer Science in the Database Group at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He got his PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1998. He was a faculty member at the University of Michigan from 1999–2008, and joined the faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2008. He works in the area of large-scale data management and cloud computing.
He is also the founder of Locomatix,[1] which was named the 20 hottest startup by MobileBeat,[2] in 2010 and highlighted in the Innovation Showcase at CTIA.[3]
